【Purpose】
UEC ASEAN Research Center (UARC), currently known as UEC ASEAN Research and Education Center (UAREC) was officially established at the KMUTT Learning Center on February 7, 2014. KMUTT is one of Thailand’s leading research institutions and offers continuous collaboration as our partner university. UARC relocated to KMUTT KX for Innovation Center in June 2015. KMUTT KX for Innovation center is a prestigious academic center, and our office was the first to implement overseas bases among Japanese higher educations. UARC was established to promote in-depth research, foster highly skilled personnel, and implement dynamic activities and partnerships between industries and academic institutions in Southeast Asian countries.
UARC was renamed as UAREC on October 1, 2017, and continues to expand its support of collaboration in many aspects in Southeast Asian countries.
